Feb 13th?? Heidi came to visit.

Intubation is no fun.

Poor Jillian’s arm. You can see the PICC line and the restraints she had to wear. You can also see the vent and IV tubes

Feb 14

She would kick off her covers when she had a fever.

YEAH!! No more vent!! A quilt my aunt Judy brought.

Her first trip out. Hoorah for wagons.

We couldn’t leave the PICU so we just walked up and down the hallway for 10 minutes.

There they are looking out the window at the pond.

Today Jillian is eating and has requested mixed fruit with whipped cream. She also wants fresh berries and has been eating whole wheat baked crackers. I just talked to Jeff and he said that Jillian is requesting another wagon ride. :) We are supposed to move rooms today and go to the 2nd floor Hem/Onc but they have shared rooms so I am not too happy about the move. My plan is to beg, plead, bribe and cajole anyone and everyone into letting us stay on the PICU until discharge.

I’ll be back at the hospital tonight.
